  • Monthly Zoom calls from September through April to discuss John Milton Gregory’s The Seven Laws of Teaching and Habits of the Household by Justin Whitmel Earley plus a monthly topic related to pedagogy, classroom management, assessment, etc. See the schedule below.

  • Assistance in writing and editing a response to John Milton Gregory’s The Seven Laws of Teaching. 

  • Assistance in writing and editing a response to Habits of the Household by Justin Whitmel Earley. 

  • Assistance in writing and editing a position paper on the author’s philosophy of classical Christian education.   

  • Assistance in writing and editing a position paper on classical Christian pedagogy.

All Classes Meet on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM EST

In each of the following sessions, we will spend time discussing The Seven Laws of Teaching by John Milton Gregory and Habits of the Household by Justin Earley in addition to the following topics:

October 22: Principles of Classroom Governance 

November 12: Assessment   

December 10: Grading 

January 14: Common Early-Career Mistakes 

February 18: How to Teach “Writing” 

March 25: The 3-Word Lesson Plan for Humanities Teachers 

April 22: Explaining Classical Education to Students, Parents, Coworkers, and Administrators
